What kind of pressure is now on a.j burnett to produce for yankees?
There will be a lot of pressure on Burnett to produce for the Yankees. Last year, he struggled. His ERA was over 5 and WHIP was 1.50. His is not that good of a pitcher though. His career ERA is 3.99 and his career record is 110-100. I think he is not worth his contract. I think the Yankees signed him to a big contract of about of about $82.5 million over 5 years. And he have never even made the All Star team yet in his career. A.J can have a great game and then his next start, he struggles. I think since Pettite just retired, that will make more pressure for Burnett to live up to his big contract. He is important to the Yankees' success if they want to win the World Series.
