How do I fix this error message on my computer, running Windows XP?

If you don't have a Windows XP disc, just how do you think can fix this? No disc, No fix. You need to either extract a copy of the hal.dll, do a repair of Windows XP, or do a clean install. All of these require booting from an XP disc.
